LANXESS Turkey is currently seeking a strong, motivated and talented individual for the position of Sales Manager Turkey within our Advanced Industrial Intermediates /AII/ & LANXESS Performance Materials /LPM/ Business Units.
Location: office based position, LANXESS Kimya Tic. Ltd. Sti./ Ümraniye-Istanbul - flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute customer strategy approved by segment manager to drive profitable growth
Conduct commercial negotiations according to the prior aligned targets
Prepare Sales Budget and Forecasts
Recognize and evaluate new business opportunities at existing as well as new accounts as a basis for initiating, coordinating and commercializing new projects
Lead customer projects (including documentation within CRM system)
Proactively scout for new customers and applications according to the segments’ defined strategy including leveraging internal and external cross-functional communication
Coordination of Tech-Days/Workshops at key customers
Build up network within relevant industry in addition to monitoring competition activities in order to recognize and address market trends / customer needs in an early stage
Gather information regarding the market and suppliers in order to provide the transparency
Chase overdue payments and optimize the BU’s financial exposure at each customer
Act in coordination with the responsible Sales Support Specialist
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
graduate: Chemical, Technical, Engineering degree or Business Administration (optional)
3-5 years of overall relevant sales experience
Turkish mother tongue and mandatory fluency in English /German is advantage/
Interpersonal skills with ability to gain respect and credibility with customers
Strong project management experience and analytical skills
Solid communication and presentation skills
Entrepreneurial thinking, overcoming complexity
Team Player
IT Knowledge (Microsoft, CRM)
