Job Highlights

LANXESS France is currently seeking motivated and talented individuals with the appropriate experience for the of Regulatory Affairs Manager within the Material Protection Products (MPP BU) Business Unit and Business Line ACD Biosecurity Solutions.


BL ACD Biosecurity Solutions is a dynamic and fast-paced business, positioned at the forefront of disease control in animal livestock production, offering premium disinfectants under the globally-renowned Virkon™, TH5™ and Aldekol™ brands. This business is looking for a highly capable and experienced person to lead the biocides group within the EMEA Regulatory Affairs team, with a compatible skillset and personality to support exciting and novel business projects.


Location: LANXESS Courbevoie, Paris or Laval site /travel to the Laval site to be expected at least once a month/.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the activities of the biocides group, to ensure a structured work programme and clear goals and targets.
  • Development of technical dossiers and technical materials supporting product registrations (includes development of BPR product authorisation dossiers), with interaction and in partnership with other functions.
  • Giving clear direction, support and guidance to Biocides team to ensure delivery of the team goals.
  • Facilitating relationships with regulatory agencies, including representing the company in meetings of the various professional bodies and in expert networks.
  • Anticipate regulatory developments in order to introduce into the development process the changes made necessary by new requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance of the products within the BL ACD Disinfection business to regulations on advertising, packaging, and advertising media and documentation.
  • Provide operational support to all internal departments in order to be the guarantor of the proper application of regulatory protocols, with continued concern for compliance with quality and safety requirements when placing products on the market.
  • Managing the Biocides Regulatory Group.



  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a physical science or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a technical team.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working on the preparation of product dossiers under EU BPR.
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements in the field of biocides.
  • Competent technical and scientific skills.
  • Good communications skills, including an ability to succinctly summarise to audiences of varying technical capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and organised; capable of effectively managing and prioritising a busy personal workload.
  • Proven and strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in an international team.
  • Fluent English and French
  • Occasional overseas travel is expected.
