LANXESS Italy is currently seeking a strong, motivated and talented individuals with the appropriate experience for the position of Deputy of Site Director/Site Services Manager
Business UNIT: Lubricant Additives (LAB)
Location: Italy, Latina
Purpose of the role:
- Assures compliance of all site environmental, firefighting and security plants (i.e., WWTP, TO, scrubbing units, guards, fire brigade, shift foremen, and equipment).
- Assures high level of standards for environmental permits (AIA, AUA, etc.)
- Assures high level of relationship and trust with Authorities (i.e. ARPA, ASL, Comune, Regione Lazio, Provincia, etc )
- Manages General Services dpt. in compliance with local legislation as well as LANXESS Group Directives
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all site environmental equipment & plants: Waste Water Treatment Plant, Thermo Oxyder, scrubbing unit
- Assure all environmental parameters and relative min/max limits are in compliance with site authorization (AIA, AUA, etc.)
- Assure all environmental/security/firefighting permits are constantly monitored, updated, maintained and renewed
- Identify and study, in conjunction with Process Engineers, Plant Supervisors and HSE depts, any minor and major process improvement aiming to assure stable sustainability of the site
- Manage firefighting plants/equipment and guarantee high level of training for site fire brigade
- Manage Security plant and guards
- Direct and coordinate shift foremen
- Manage General Services dept
- Coordinate efficiently contractors’ activities
- Implement and maintain proper SOP and procedures for all managed equipment and plants.
- Identify and study any minor and major technical and organizational proposals aiming to improve firefighting systems/equipment and site security.
- Assure and maintain high level of professional relationship with all Authorities.
- Assure the leadership and responsibilities as deputy of site manager
- Constantly conduct the review of environmental processes and activities to ensure effective and efficient capex/costs management.
- Promote a rolling dialogue and close collaboration with the Site Director, HoHSE and Production Managers - Global Production and Technology on (HQ) on all topics relating to the environment and sustainability.
